A private doctor was assaulted by 4 men during a consultation at his clinic. Doctor alleged that when he asked for consultation fee from the patient the accused and his accomplices assaulted him and stole his private bag and mobile phone in which 20,000/- was kept inside the bag.

Police after conducted the investigation has booked the accused and have identified them. Four of them are accused of beating the doctor and stealing cash along with a mobile phone on October 31. Later the Police registered an FIR under section 323 (voluntarily causing hurt), 341 (wrongful restraint), 506 (Criminal intimidation), and 34 (acts done by several persons in furtherance of common intention) of the Indian Penal Code and booked accused on Wednesday. IO has informed that hunt is on for the arrest of the accused.
